They said this year would be the last time all the living veterans would try and get together. I was actually supposed to come home this day from being in Australia, but we cut our trip short to get home to the kids and so I could shoot this. This is the third year in a row I've been able to be here and document this.
The greatest generation is slowly, slipping away. I'm proud beyond belief to have been able to be here and make these photos of these people.

My wife's grandfather was a Pearl Harbor Survivor. Sadly he is no longer with us. Thank you for posting this.
