Everything except the first shot was taken on a Contax 645 shot on Fuji Pro 400H film with an 80mm f/2 lens shot wide open. The top shot was taken on a Fuji GX680 camera which has movements on it (thus the tilt) and was shot with a 125mm f/5.6 lens shot at f/5.6 on Fuji Neopan 400BW which is a color negative film. It was all scanned by Richard Photo Lab in LA.
I have no idea how to tell you to recreate it digitally :(.
I have some more questions, but please don't feel obligated to answer them. I am trying to figure out how you get the faces in a group in focus, but the background mostly out of focus. I usually shoot groups at minimum f5.6, but then I don't get any nice BG blur. You said you shot this couple at f2, but both of their faces are in focus. That never works for me. Thanks!

May I ask the stats on the second to last photo, like lens size and length. Is it possible to imitate that with digital?

So, I need to buy a lens that can be used at f2 at 80 mm? I don't currently have one, and dangit, I just spent my Christmas money on a 17-50mm f2.8.
