Beloved San Diego

I took these images in Oct. It was not really associated with any of my weddings (personal work) so it got pushed back and pushed back to be scanned. Anyway, obviously, they finally got scanned and it was like Christmas getting these images back.

I heart San Diego. And if you heart San Diego as well, or any of these photos for that matter, you can pick one up for your desk or wall HERE.

A few years ago I went to San Diego. You have a great eye to find art in simple things. I admire your work!

Ouch. That is a pang of homesickness.

I have been waiting for you to do this for a long time!!!! These are wonderful! Apart from taking all visitors to Balboa and the zoo, my parents and I used to picnic there and watch the planes when i was a little kid. Its so beautiful! I wish you could've got over to Coronado and up to Encinitas or the rolling hills of Esconghetto. Maybe someday when one of the little sisters gets married..

We really have the best little city in CA.
thanks again!

Home! :) Balboa is wonderful isn't it? Great detail shots! San Diego is definitely the cleanest and safest of the large cities in California. But San Fran is my favorite for photos. Too bad I can't make it up for the workshop. :(

Were these all shot with the Contax 80mm?

everything was shot on the contax 645 with an 80mm lens at f/2 or 2.8.

I love the lines and the art. So beautiful. Very simple yet defining. Oh and I love the mustang. Such sweet memories. My first car was a 1974 Mustang 11 Ghia all white with a black top that made it look like a convertible. It was sooo cool.
