So, my brother, who kindly rented all the bikes while we were gallivanting around in Paris, finally got his CC bill. Come to find out, these bikes are NOT 1 Euro a day. They are 1 Euro to get the pass to rent them then they are billed hourly and get more expensive the longer you have them. I guess we did not see the fine print in French. A little under $300 in bike rentals for 4 days. The French stuck it to us.

i was in paris this summer and was telling my friends about how cool it is that you can rent bikes. i too thought they were only 1 Euro. Dang, guess i was wrong.
I love this shot. I still had fun on the bikes. I'd do it again if I ever went back too--I'd just scramble my scrawny self to a bike rack every 30 minutes!
