Utah State Fair Holgarized

I have totally neglected this camera/process. This was taken on my Holga and shot on Kodak E100VS which was then cross processed. I also had a Nikon SB80 for fill flash when shooting into the sun. I shot 5 rolls of film, or 60 exposures. I love this about film. I see something, go up to it, frame/compose, take 1 shot, and I'm on my way. I'm not burning through shot after shot after shot. I slow it down, get what I want and move on. And the best thing about this camera, 9 times out of 10, I'm not even looking through the viewfinder. I just point and click and out comes awesomeness. If you are looking for a Holga, yeah, you could be hip and get one at Urban Outfitters at some ridiculously jacked up price, or you can buy a Holga at the one place you should ever buy a holga:

Randy Smith modifies the holgas so they are actual working cameras that produce reliable results. Otherwise, you are just shooting with a toy. Which can be fun, but I want reliable results (don't you?). I bought my first holga from him back in 2000 and have ever since (I have 6 holgas).

Thank me later.

Stunning! I love lomo! May I ask which Holga model from Randy you used on this? Thanks!

Love it! going to fair tomorrow with my lomo lc-a and kodak. Plus the camera fits in your pocket so it can go on the rides. Inspiring as always.

I feel sticky just looking at this post. They are pretty and hit the same nerve as when I catch my kids licking the handle of a shopping cart. And I have a sudden craving for a dollar dog. Nice job!
