Hi Jonathan
I am a film shooter from Europe. I love your work. We are use kodak portra also but we never ever get these color results. What are you do during scan process? I would like go to your workshop but that is way too far from us :)

film must be scanned on a fuji frontier. the only adjustments i make are in levels/curves/color balance and literally they take 5 seconds to do. there are no actions run. its pretty simple.
