Talisker - Lifestyle Shoot

This was the first time I ever rode a snow mobile, a snow cat, or a tire down a mountain side :).

Beautiful color! Amazing. What camera/lens combination do you use to do the closeup portraits like the one of the girl? So perfect!

contax 645 w/80mm f/2 lens with a +2 filter on the front.

Genius! I love this shoot so much! Film is so not dead!

You ever try the extension tube with the 80mm on the contax for close up shots? I hear it's supposed to produce better quality images than front of lens adapters... At least it does with my Nikon lenses.

This series looks great. I love the snowball shot.
@Brandon, I think the +2 filter on the front is ND to be able to shoot wide open, not for close focusing. I could be wrong.

+2 filter is actually a close up filter. i HATE extention tubes as you have to take the lens off each time you want to use it. this way you just pop it on the front of your lens and take it off when you need it. i don't use ND filters. i just over expose like mad since it is c-41 film.

and i don't see a difference in quality at all.

a GREAT alternative to mackro lenses which are BIG, heavy, and EXPENSIVE. that filter, is like $20.
