The Chocolate

I went with my class I teach @ UVU to go do a "story-telling through details" shoot. This is of an AMAZING bakery in Orem, UT called The Chocolate. Their space is absolutely amazing. Old, old house that has been restored and redecorated. They have SO much space. They have engagement parties, birthdays, and I just found out someone actually just proposed there.

If you are looking for an amazing alternative to a wedding cake and want all your guests to be over the moon with their sweets @ your wedding, seriously, drop them a line. I HEART their pineapple coconut cupcake. HEART.

Go check them out. And if you remember, I shot them before as well when the bakery was in their home basement :).

OK, I got a little irked flipping through the post and thought "I don't see no damn chocolate!" Then, realized it's the name of the place.

You are excused.

I go here often, Callie must meet me there soon. It is a great bakery and it is the way a Mormon girl can have a fun night out. They stay open 'till 10:00! (so late for Provo) It feels just like going out for a drink. Only you don't get a hangover. Well maybe a little hangs over your jeans, but who cares!

You don't have to post this, I know it is a lame comment.

Hi Jon! I'm a friend of the group, and LOVE the photos you took of the Chocolate. (you took some photos for my sisters wedding too!) I'm actually Angie's friend, and the Interior Designer that helped her get things going. I hope you'll let me post some of these photos on my blog?

Since I'm new to your blog, I'm going back over everything when my kids will give me 2 seconds of peace & quiet. Your work is AH-MA-ZING! I had to comment on this post because of your comment about the pineapple/coconut cupcake. I have an amazing pineapple, coconut, oatmeal cookie recipe that you would probably love! It's fab!
