The Mission District - San Francisco

The workshop in San Francisco was held at a studio space right above Paxston's Gate off Velencia and 19th. The area around there is amazing and every morning before the workshop, I'd go around and shoot some stuff for myself. I love San Fran and I love Birite Ice Cream (SALTED CARMEL!!!) in the Mission as well. Along with the little Mexican Place we had the closing social in. Attendees, help me here, what was the name of it? There was a guy signing with an out of tune guitar great Spanish/Latin music while we ate/chatted it up for literally 3 hours.

I heart San Fran, truly I do.

I love love love your pics of San Fran. It is my favorite city and your photos captured it better than any I have seen before.

One day my husband will let me out of the house and take me to San Fran. Or to the mailbox. Either one would be sweet.

I was just missing salted caramel ice cream yesterday! I was at Costco so I bought one of their hand dipped ice cream bars. It was huge and really good and yummy, but it was no salted caramel.

I still miss that place. Lots of good mexican places there but one of my favorite spots was a salvadorean place called panchitas. Also, you've got to go to Mitchell's next time and/or bombay ice creamery (cardamom ice cream!). Bi-rite is probably a bit more high brow and it wasn't there when I was in the neighborhood but I am want to try it. Heard about the olive oil on the sundae and keep having to stop myself, especially because they use a special flavored olive oil. Don't know if EV would be quite the same.
