Film is Not Dead workshop in UTAH!!! -OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT-


The Film is Not Dead workshop is officially coming to UT! I know, if you click that link, it takes you to the San Francisco Film is Not Dead workshop website. Stay tuned, the new website will go live July 15th all shiny and new. However, pre-registration begins NOW! And trust me, if you are even somewhat interested in attending, contact me soon as this is going to fill up QUICK!

Here is the 411:

WHERE : Private residence in Promontory Point in Park City, UT.

WHEN : Oct 5th-7th 2009 9am-5pm.

WHAT : 3 days of hands-on-shoots (engagements, families, wedding couple) in and around Park City/Heber coupled with lectures each day. Each attendee will receive a 40 page workbook from FINAO with an accompanying DVD, which contains all topics covered during the workshop. Film provided by FujiFilm. Breakfast and lunch is provided all 3 days (the food will blow your minds). This workshop is limited to 12 attendees.

TOPICS : Film - Who, What, When, Where, Why and How?, Learning to love family portraits, Storytelling through details, Making every event publishable, Getting published, Instaproofs - How it will change your business, Hands-on flash demo, Posing, The power of a blog, How to define your vision and more.

COST : $2000 if you register before Aug 5th. $2400 after Aug 5th.

To reserve your spot, a $1000 retainer (or $1200 after Aug 5th) is due.

All travel to and from the workshop and lodging will be the responsibility of each attendee. However, transportation during the workshop will be provided (hello, we are buying a passenger van).

Again, space is limited to 12 attendees. I don't know how to stress it enough (other than I have already sent out 11 invoices of which 5 have signed up), this is going to fill up FAST!.
