Film is Not Dead v. 3.0 - San Francisco!


I am pleased to finally and officially announce that v. 3.0 of the Film is Not Dead workshop is coming to San Francisco!

The workshop website has been completely updated which you can check out HERE.

Here is the info on the workshop:

WHERE : The Mission district of San Francisco.

WHEN : July 13th-15th 2009 9am-5pm. 5pm-dark/hunger sets in shooting personal work in and around the city.

WHAT : 3 days of hands-on-shoots (engagements, families, wedding couple) in San Francisco coupled with lectures each day. Each attendee will receive a 40 page workbook from FINAO with an accompanying DVD, which contains all topics covered during the workshop. Film provided by FujiFilm. Breakfast and lunch is provided all 3 days (the food will blow your minds). The workshop is limited to 14 attendees.

TOPICS : Film - Who, What, When, Where, Why and How?, Learning to love family portraits, Storytelling through details, Making every event publishable, Getting published, Instaproofs - How it will change your business, Hands-on flash demo, Posing, The power of a blog, How to define your vision and more.

COST : $2000 if you register before March 1st. $2200 after March 1st.

I will be periodically putting updates on the Film is Not Dead blog as well with info on parking (there is a garage 1 block away with $8 parking for the whole day!), directions, places to stay, deals on flights etc.

It totally is. I am going to be in san fran this summer. drew will hopefully be getting an internship there for graphic design (do you know of any he could get?) ...anyways IT'S A POSSIBILITY! So great!
