It was so grand...

I am landing this morning in SLC. Version 2.0 of my workshop Film is Not Dead conducted in Laie HI just wrapped. I am leaving sunny 84 degree weather for from what I hear 6 inches of snow in Lehi.

There are so many people who helped to make this whole experience possible and so amazing. Much thanks to Colby Su of C-3 Design for coming all the way out from Utah and doing an amazing job on the table tops for the day we were shooting details (photos to follow). Much thanks to Shawn of Sax Romney for doing the flowers for the shoot as well (again, photos to follow). Much thanks to Natalie Norton for being my feet here in Hawaii and getting some of the models lined up and being a model herself with her wonderful, wonderful family. Much thanks to Camille & Micah and Jenn & Dann for being totally awesome models in the totally awesome heat. Much thanks to Brion Hopkins, who flew all the way from Santa Barbara and helped in so many aspects from the food to the kicker (you so are family now Mufi). And much thanks to the Version 2.0 attendees for being some of the coolest, kindest, most gracious people ever.

It truly has been so grand...

And for those of you who missed this one, don't fret. Version 3.0 will be announced by Dec 1st. And from the looks of it, Film is Not Dead is coming to the Beehive State. For updates, check out the Film is Not Dead Blog.

And much Mahalo and Aloha to you, my readers!

Great! I can't wait to hear more details on the next workshop-especially if it's in Utah! (A little easier for me to get to from Ohio!)
