"Por Pun? Wat kine pun?"

I was doing what I normally do when we go to places (take photos), and I got behind this one market and that had some cool details. I walked inside the fence and I started snapping away and I could hear someone had started talking to someone. I stopped what I was doing to go see what was going on and here is this angry Filipino man with a HEAVY Filipino accent asking what I was doing. He had locked the gage I came in and he kept asking "Wat dis por?". I told him, "Oh, I'm just taking pictures for fun". He then responded, "Por pun? Wat kine pun?". If you had not noticed, a Filipino accent turns all f's into p's. I then started to explain to him that we were intrigued with the market and were just taking photos. I told him I was half Filipino and I was just interested in a place so heavily populated by Filipinos. He totally did a 180 and turned that frown up side down and started asking me if spoke Tagolog (which I do not), asking where my family is from (Pampanga), and have I ever gone back (every other year until I was 15), etc. I think he was full on ready to beat us up when he found us, all 4'11" of him. Luckily this time, being brown got me out of trouble as opposed to the other way around.
