Film is Not Dead Version 2.0 goes live tomorrow.

Film is Not Dead Version 2.0 is almost complete! We go live with the updated site tomorrow.

Registration begins tomorrow!

Here are the details:

When: Nov 3rd-6th/Nov 10th-13th 2008
Where: North Shore of O'ahu in Laie at a private residence
Cost: $2000 if you register before April 21st. $2200 after April 21st.
Topics to include: Film - who/what/when/where/why/how, Getting Published, Story-telling through Details, Loving Family Formals, Instaproofs - How it will change your life!, Making Every Event Publishable, Hands-on Flash Demo, Posing, The Power of a Blog, How to Define Your Vision and more...
Limited to 12 attendees per session.

Session 1 (Nov 3rd-6th) must be filled before registration for Session 2 (Nov 10th-13th) can begin.

The workshop tuition also includes a 40 page workbook provided by Finao with an accompanying DVD which contains all the information covered in lectures and hands-on shoots. Film will be provided by FujiFilm as well.

Gourmet (I kid you not) breakfast and lunch will be provided all 4 days.

The schedule is as follows:

8:30-9 - Gourmet Breakfast
9-12 - Lecture
12-12:30 - Gourmet Lunch
12:30-4:30 - Hands-on shoots (Bride and Grooms, Engagements, Families, etc.)
4:30-5 - 1 on 1 session with attendees

Day 3 will be dedicated to 30 minute one on one sessions with each of the attendees. During the one on one sessions the other attendees will be out shooting assignments and applying the previous lecture topics.

There also will be a get together the evening before the workshop begins and a closing social the night of the last day of the workshop. More details to come...

To register a $1000 Retainer is due to hold your spot. The balance is due Sept 3rd.

Why oh why oh why did I have to go get myself knocked up, unable once again to attend your faboo workshop! Bummer. Good luck, of course it will be amazing!

Would love to make it out this year, but the baby on the way needs to have diapers and clothes and stuff. Lame excuses I know, but Ill try my best to catch up with you at the next one. Cheers.
