Congratulations to Rebeca!Nice work Jon.
Way to go, shooting in the rain! And way to go Rebeca for going out in the rain in her beautiful dress! These are awesome.
Oh man, I was there that weekend. Cold and rainy! Amazing job!
Yeah, I can't tell you how bad this day was weather wise. It was like 46 degrees, windy, super cold rain. Its weird that it does not translate into the photos at all other than super saturated colors because everything was wet. I shot again at the SLC temple on the 4th (those picts will be posted soon) and it was not as bad as it was on the 3rd. She was so cold at the end. It was super hard to see through my viewfinder because I kept fogging it up with my hot breathe. Plus, my medium format focusing gets real slow when its cold. I think the oil in the lens like solidifies or something making it harder to focus than normal...I will admit there were a handful of shots of just the bride and groom where I was just like, well, I think its in focus, here goes nothing...and not one of them were out of focus which is pretty amazing for shooting wide open. Take that rain, I so kicked your butt.
I am laughing, rain totally bites. I had a session there on Saturday. It was pretty drizzly the entire day too. Luckily you can't tell in any of the shots. Huge blessing. These are all fabulous. Love the wide angle shot the best, great capture.
the shot of carlos with the vail in his mouth...the vail got caught on his braces. priceless.
